CATARACT was founded early summer 1998 and quickly became a very promising project for all of the involved. Born from the ashes of bands like DAMAGE ID, MINE, CEASE or ARMICIDE a razor sharp mix of hard hitting hardcore and extrem metal resulted from the many insprations and experiences the members have gained over the years before.
